January, 15th 2012. The day of my bf's young brother ' Brian sudirmin ' birthday. Last year i can't come to his birthday party due to i went to my friend sweet17th birthday party. I was giving him 1 t'shirt and 1 polo shirt by Levi's. This year, i confused on what to give for him, so i decided giving him strawberry pie seeing that he really obsessed with the fruit named " STRAWBERRY " . Don't know why, he didn't celebrate his birthday party, therefore i gave the pie the day after.
My bf said if i want to meet with him, i must go there at 12 to 1 am. Unfortunately, i woke at 11.30am :( My house is farfaraway from his house, people said north to south that taking time an hour if driving at noon. But his brother's staying with his grandma and her house just only need an half hour by driving. 1 and an half hours didn't enough of taking bath, doing hair, making face, choosing clothes, lunch and the time of driving of 2 persons, me and my sister. I planned to just giving it to his brother then i'll going to tailor to minimize my clothes, buying anything snacks for chinese new year and go to TeddyHouse to buying new clothes for my teddy and my sister's. Next time i will posting story about our teddy. Soon.

Black Bottom Strawberry Cream Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust (from 15-oz box), softened as directed on box
- 2/3 cup hot fudge topping
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 pint (2 cups) strawberries, quartered
- 1/2 cup strawberry pie glaze
- 1/2 cup whipping (heavy) cream, whipped, if desired
Methods :
1. Heat oven to 450°F. Make pie crust as directed on box for One-Crust Baked Shell using 9-inch glass pie pan. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
2. Spread hot fudge topping in bottom of cooled baked shell. Refrigerate 1 hour.
3. In small bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Carefully spread over chocolate layer in shell.
4. In medium bowl, gently mix strawberries and pie glaze. Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour.
5. Just before serving, pipe or spoon whipped cream around edge of pie. Store in refrigerator.
Since in my hometown doesn't sell refrigerated pie crust, i made it from my sister RiaFeng's recipe that she obtained from our university. Here for the recipe.
Pie Crust
Ingredients :
- 250grams pastry flour
- 25grams sugar
- pinch of salt
- 125grams butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 50grams water
Methods :
1. shift flour combined with all the items
2. rub butter into flour with finger tips until sandy texture
3. make a well in the middle and add in egg yolk and water. toss lightly with fingers until liquid is well distributed. bring the dough together without kneading too much.
4. wrap and rest for 30minutes in chiller
5. roll it till 3mm thickness and apply to the pie pan
For the strawberry glaze, i did it very simple. Just chunk the strawberry then add with sugar and cook them till becomes syrup. No need to add water, because the strawberry will burst out liquid. The sugar is depend on how sweet you want :)
